Evaluation Board
As a part of work package five, CoRdiNet will reach out to future associated members by hosting several Calls for Expression Interest by supporting a range of actions related to five of CoRdiNet’s work packages. To evaluate incoming Expressions of Interest, an Evaluation Board consisting of both seasoned veterans and young leaders within the field of Earth observation has been established.

Evaluation Board Meeting
First meeting of the CoRdiNet Evaluation Board to prepare for the upcoming Calls for Expression of Interest was held in Brussels on April 10.
The Evaluation Board, including CoRdiNet coordinator Jürgen Vogel and Nereus’ Roya Ayazi, at the board’s first meeting in Brussels.
On 10 April 2019 CoRdiNet’s Evaluation Board met at the premises of CoRdiNet partner Nereus, which is hosted by the Representation of the State of Hessen to the EU, Brussels. Roya Ayazi, Nereus, who is responsible for administrating the Calls for Expression of Interest, explained the guidelines for the evaluation of the coming Expressions of Interest, where CoRdiNet offers in support of future associated members.
CoRdiNet’s coordinator, Jürgen Vogel, welcomed nine evaluators and explained the idea behind the relationship of CoRdiNet and its newly to be associated partners. CoRdiNet’s Copernicus Academy partner network, CopHub.AC, has been represented in the Evaluation Board by Peter Zeil, Spatial Services, Salzburg, while EARSC, being contractor of CopHub.AC, and who also supported CoRdiNet through the proposal phase, has agreed to take a seat in the Evaluation Board.
