Joint CoRdiNet-CopHub.AC Review Meeting in Bergen, Norway

The meeting was hosted by the Institute of Marine Research, at the IMR premises in Bergen. In association with the meeting, a workshop on the use of Copernicus products and services, with a focus on marine applications, was held on Wednesday afternoon (see separate story on this site).

In addition to the workshop on Copernicus products and services, Wednesday was used for preparatory meetings within each consortium: On Thursday, the Review Meeting for the CopHub.AC project was held, while in the afternoon a joint review session for both projects was organized. This joint session started with an overview of the Horizon 2020 financial reporting regulations, followed by a session on joint activities in the two projects. These included project coordination and steering board meetings, joint workshops and conference sessions, as well as social media, outreach and dissemination activities. Furthermore, plans for future joint activities were presented and discussed, most notably, a joint session during the European Space Week in Helsinki, Finland, in December.

On Friday, the Review Meeting for the CoRdiNet project was held. Here, status and outcomes from all work packages were presented and discussed. The CoRdiNet team welcomed recommendations and advice from the project officer and reviewer, on how to design activities for maximizing the project impact and legacy.
